Objective:To investigate the clinical value of ELISPOT combined with mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen test for AIDS complicated by tuberculosis.Methods:32cases of AIDS patients were divided into tuberculosis group and the nontu-berculosis group,two groups of patients carried out ELISPOT,mycobacterium tuberculosis antigens, blood culture,sputum smear,purfied protein derivatives(PPD), mycobacterium tu-berculosis antibody test, analyzed the advantage of ELISPOT combined with mycobacteri-um tuberculosis antigen method.Results:The positive rate of various detection methods of tuberculosis group respectively were:blood culture:7.1%,sputum smear:7.1%,PPD:14.3%,mycobacterium tuberculosis ant-ibody:21.4%,mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen:28.6%,ELISPOT:85.7%,ELISPOT com-bined with mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen test (hereinafter referred to combination te-st):92.9%.There were statistically significant (p<0.005) between combination test and blo-od culture,combination test and sputum smear,combination test and PPD,combination test and mycobacterium tuberculosis antibody,combination test and mycobacterium tuberculos-is atigen test,there was not statisitically significant (p>0.9)between combination test and E-LISPOT.The positive rate of various detection methods of nontuberculosis group respectiv-ly were:blood culture:0,sputum smear:0,PPD:0,mycobacterium tuberculosis antibody:16.7%,mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen:11.1%,ELSPOT:0,combination test:11.1%.Compar-ed tuberculosis with nontuberculosis group there was statistically significant (P<0.0001) in ELISPOT and combination test,other detection method were not statistically significant.Conclusion:The first,it had higher sensitivity and specificity of ELISPOT combined with mycobacerium tuberculosis antigen test or ELISPOT separated test for AIDS patients com-plicated by tuberculosis.To avoided midd-diagnosis,combination test should used when pa-ients were suspected tuberculosis infection but could not diagnosis in time,combination te-st was worth promotion in clinical. The second,the traditional detection method were not statisitical difference in tuberculosis and the nontuberculosis group(blood culture,sputum smear,PPD,mycobacterium tubercul-osis antibody,mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen),it was not apparent effect that tradition-al detection methods diagnose tuberculosis separated in HIV crowd.
