Objective Through collecting the cases of intertrochanteric fracture which is Senileunstable treated by proximal femur anatomical locking plate and Proximal Femoral NailAnti-rotation (PFNA), analyze and evaluate its clinical efficacy in the future, to provide thebasis for deeper study, and seek for a safer, more efficient methods to treatmentintertrochanteric fracture which is Senile unstable. Methods In this study,60cases of elderly patients with unstable intertrochantericfracture are collected,30cases are called PFNA group by PFNA method of treatment,30cases are called Anatomical locking plate group by proximal femoral anatomical lockingplate for treatment. Records of the patients with operation time, incision length, bleedingduring operation and postoperative drainage volume; observation of complications, loadtime and clinical healing time of fracture; reference hip function evaluation standard forthe evaluation of functional recovery of the hip joint, postoperative review of radiographsand judgement for coax vara, if neck shaft angle measurement value less than110degree.The results are statistically analyzed to assess the therapeutic effect of proximal femuranatomical locking plate and PFNA.Results Clinical observation on60patients and comprehensive evaluation, throughstatistical analysis, the differences between anatomical locking plate group and PFNA group in operation time, incision length, bleeding during operation and postoperativedrainage volume, postoperative weight bearing time, complications and the hip jointfunction are statistically significant (P <0.05); the differences in clinical healing time offracture are not so significant (P>0.05). The results show that, compared with PFNA andanatomical locking compression plate, the operation with PFNA is more convenient, lessblood loss, less postoperative ambulation, less complications and better functional recoveryof hip joint after operation, and more in line with the principles of biological fixation. Conclusion Femoral intertrochanteric fractures by internal fixation methods varied, and the use of PFNA in the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture of femur in the exact. Inelderly patients with osteoporosis and unstable intertrochanteric fracture of the femur hascertain advantages, and it is an ideal method in the treatment of elderly patients withunstable intertrochanteric fracture, worthy of clinical application.
