Objective:To observe the clinical value of320Slice Dynamic Volume Computer tomography cerebral perfusion imaging combined with CTA in assessment of transient ischemic attacks(TIA) resulted from internal carotid artery system diseases. Methods:Conventional CT, CTA and CT perfusion imaging(CTP)were performed in52patients with clinically diagnosed TIA. The time to peak (TTP), cerebral blood flow (CBF)and cerebral blood volume(CBV)were evaluated. The stenosis of degree and the plaques of nature in carotid arteries was assessed. And32normal volunteers were enrolled as control.Results:In52patients with TIA,36patients with plain CT flat and normal and showed lacunar infarctions only in16patients. CTP showed normal in5patients and abnormal in47patients, among them TTP and CBF of the stenotic side were significantly different compared with those of the contralateral side(P<0.01). One hundred thirty-seven stenosis internal carotid arteries and218carotid artery plaques were found with CTA. Cerebral infarction happened on7patients within6months.Conclusion:320Slice Dynamic Volume CT cerebral Perfusion CT provides valuable hemodynamic in for mation and show s the exent of perfusion disturbances for patients with TIA. CTP combined with CTA can provide valuable diagnostic information for patients with TIA.
