Objective: To explore the correlation of the severity of pulmonary embolism (PE) inpatients with CT pulmonary angiography (CTPA) embolism index and cardiovascularparameters,to evaluation the value of echocardiography on pulmonary embolism(PE).Methods:A total of252patients which were diagnosed by CT pulmonaryangiography (CTPA),no serious underlying cardiopulmonary disease, were enrolled in thisstudy,other32patients which were treatment for3months after the review were enrolledin this study. We calculate Qanadli embolization index according the degree of pulmonaryemboli blocking. To evaluation of the relationship of the two sets of data, the difference ininitial and post-treatment of three cardiovascular parameters. Results:For patients withpulmonary embolism,Qanadli embolism index and pulmonary artery pressure is bestcorrelation; The correlation in embolism Qanadli index and pulmonary artery pressure isreducing wih trunk groups, group leaves, segment group. The correlation is good in Qanadliembolism index and pulmonary artery pressure with the left lobe group.If≥10lungsegments embolism, Qanadli embolism index and pulmonary artery pressure are notcorrelation. Right ventricular anteroposterior diameter and Right atrial diameter aredifferent between tunk group and segment group. Qanadli embolism index is different firstvisit and after3months of treatment. Conclusion: Embolism index and pulmonary arterypressure is Correlation. Echocardiography can estimate embolism extent in clinical.
