In recent years, with the rapid development of MRI in medical field, the team of MRItechnicians has been expanding year by year. But MRI equipment is very expensive andbulky. And the installation process is so cumbersome that it’s inconvenient to move. So thereis a great deal of trouble in the initial study of MRI technicians.In the daily teaching process, MRI technician students are lack of practical experiencebecause they do not have enough opportunity to contact the actual MRI equipment. Duringthe treatment, patient’s self-protection awareness is gradually increased. However, the numberof practice technician has been increased year by year. So the traditional practice methodcannot provide sufficient practice opportunities for the MRI technician beginners. This papercombined with the specific circumstances of MRI clinical examination, researched anddesigned a real-time feedback and interactive control virtual training system.First, based on the virtual reality modeling technique, this paper proposed modelingmethods and processes for the real-time interactive virtual training system. And it built avirtual consulting and various virtual components of MRI equipment. Second, with EONsoftware tools, this paper used many key technologies to complete the roaming of MRI virtualclinic, removal and installation of MRI virtual equipment, and interactive clinical examinationexercises with virtual MRI equipment, such as tracking point of view, collision detection,picking up objects, real-time data feedback and web publishing in virtual reality. Finally, withthe seamless connection between VC++6.0and SQL database, this paper established a recordsheet for the patients and researched the interactive image segmentation algorithm. It alsodeveloped four main functional modules of the virtual system. That is MRI scanning control,tumor marking and measurement in image, image layout and printing, and the patients’information saving and inquiring. The system provided a virtual training platform for thebeginners from the hardware to the software.This MRI virtual training system provides a whole process of actual operation for thebeginners. Meanwhile, it can standardize the operation of MRI clinical examination and playan important assessment and teaching role.By the experiments, it’s stable and simple for the MRI real-time interactive virtualtraining system to be used with a high practical value.
