As the electron scattering problem exits, the accuracy of dose calculation is farfrom the needs of the development of clinical and become to the treatment bottlenecks,especially in non-uniform organization. Interface effect from different medium materialgreatly influences the trajectories of electrons, the traditional dose calculation model isdifficult to give a precise dosage calculation result, so we urgently need an accuratelyelectronic dose calculation method.The Monte Carlo method can accurately simulate the behavior of the particles, andtherefore, can be a transport solution to particles in the linear head, in the medium andso on. The Monte Carlo method was known as the gold standard of dose calculation.In this paper, MCTP application package which is based on the Monte Carlomethod is used for simulation with the accelerator. The accelerator model was set up bythe comparison of the center axis depth doses curve and depth horizontal dose curve of6MeV,9MeV and18MeV electron beam which were calculated by MCTPapplication package and measured by water phantom. After getting the accuratephase space data, MCTP application package calculated output dose which were underdifferent parameters conditions, and then the factors which may affect the output dosewere analyzed. This will be helpful for clinical to understand the conception of outputdose. Then, from clinical consideration, this paper discussed the accuracy of electronicdose distribution using by MCTP application package and Pinnacle8.0m treatmentplanning system in the non-uniform phantom.6MeV and18MeV parallel wide highenergy electron beam were chosen for the calculation, particles were injected to thenon-uniform phantom. The contrast analysis of the dose distribution curve showed howdesired that clinical need more accuracy dose calculation method, and the Monte Carlodose calculation method can completely solve the problem.As far as the calculation correctness and the time costs which will be less and lesswith the continuous improvement of the computer running speed are concerned, MCTPprogram will gradually meet the need and apply to the practical clinical treatment.
