PhaseⅢ Clinical Trial Of Qingxian Zhitong Plaster Treating Strain Of Lumbar Muscle

Objective: To further evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Qingxian Zhitongplaster treating strain of lumbar muscle (Syndrome of Wind-damp evil attract meridians andblood stasis).Methods: Adopting randomized double-blind and placebo comparison method of clinicaltrial,64patients with strain of lumbar muscle were randomly divided into the treatmentgroup (treated with Qingxian Zhitong Plaster) and the control group (treated with placebo).All the patients were treated with plaster and changed2dressing every24h. The treatmentfor both groups continued for7days and patient’s clinical symptoms signs, index of safety，including vital sign, blood, urine, stool RT, ALT, AST, BUN, Cr, ECG, adverse events wereobserved.Results: The result showed that the effective rate was76.60%in the treatment group while37.50%in the placebo group, and there was statistical difference between the twogroups(P<0.05). In the treatment group, the pain, heavy feeling decreased obviously (P <0.001）and waist-leg weakness, Turn adverse side also decreased obviously(P <0.05)compared with the corresponding integral in the control group after the both treatment.Conclusion: Qingxian Zhitong Plaster is effective and safe for the treatment of strain oflumbar muscle.
