Efficacy Follow-up Of Simultaneous And Staggered Bilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty On Rheumatoid Arthritis And The Analysis Of Influence Factors

Objective: To analyse the influence factors and to compare the clinical effica-cy Of Simultaneous or Staggered Bilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty on Rheuma-toid arthritis. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed xxx patients with prmiar-y rheumatoid arthritis of both knee joints who received bilateralTKA andfollow-up for at least0.5years·These patients were grouped into staggered groupand smiultaneous group based on the procedures they received·The age、preop-erative co-morbidity、 pre-operative and post-operative(〉0.5years) Hospitalfor SpecialSurgery(HSS) score and its ratio、pre-operative and post-operativeROM(°)、pre-operative and post-operative VAS score and complications werereviewed and analyzed. Results: The smiultaneous group included---cases(----males and---females) and the staggered group included---cases (----malesand---females)·The rate was significantly higher in the staggered group thanin the smiultaneous group on pre-operative co-morbidity, so is it in terms ofage.The HSS scores、ROM(°) and VAS score before operation and0.5year-s after operationwere were not significantly different (P>0·05)·The co-mplicatio-n rate was not significantly higher in the smiultaneous group than the staggered group·.No patients suffered from severe complication or died during hospitalstay· Conclusion： Before operation,the age is older and the co-morbidity rateis higher of the staggered group compared with the smiultaneous group. With delicated pre-operative preparation and reasonable patient selection smiultaneousbilateralTKA has similar clinical safety and efficacy as staggered bilateralTKA.
