| Slender Sweet-flag is dried herbs of Acorus gramineus Soland. derived from Araceae. Its nature is warm and flavor is pungent with special aroma. Slender Sweet-flag has the effectiveness of promoting qi circulation and relieving pain, dispelling pathogenic wind and clear cold, removing sputum and have one’s ideas straightened out. Slender Sweet-flag often used by all the grass medicine in folk. It used to treat phlegm confusing heart, wander in one’s mind, teeth clenched, bosom frowsty and abdominal pain, rheumatism arthritis pain and edema. For external use it is can treat unknown swollen drugs.The folk medicinal resources of Slender Sweet-flag is very abundant and widely distributed. It’s often cultivation from place to place. Slender Sweet-flag has good effecting in treatment stomach disease, and often used in natural perfume material because it has the smell of the rich aroma. But so far, there is little study on Slender Sweet-flag at home and abroad. In order to make better use of new folk medicine resources and study medicinal value of Slender Sweet-flag, this article performs systematic pharmacognocy study on Slender Sweet-flag which include the documents references, commodity investigation, morphology, physical and TLC identification, content determination, naphtha by GC-MS and pharmacodynamic. The results are as follows:The plant’s morphology, leaves’form, spadix’s location are the main identification characteristics of Slender Sweet-flag at morphology aspe-cts. Its surface properties on the main to stem the spread of arms and in the shape of flowers, leaves, located as the major features. The roots surface color and section color, grease spots, leaves’form, inflorescence shape and smell as its main characteristics such as identification in medicinal. At organization structure aspects, the cortex, inside the cortex, calcium oxalate FangJing, fiber bundle, the vascular bundle type and oil cells are the main identification characteristics of stem. The arrangement of diachyma cells, calcium oxalate cluster crystal, calcium oxalate FangJing, fiber bundle, the vascular bundle type and the types of stoma are the main identification characteristics of leaf. And the leaf coat fragment, starch grains, porosity, calcium oxalate cluster crystal, calcium oxalate FangJing, fiber bundle and crystal fibre, catheter are the main identification characteristics in the powder of Slender Sweet-flag.It found that Slender Sweet-flag contains saponins, amino acids, polysaccharide, nucleoside, organic acids, flavonoids, strong heart glucoside, alkaloids and naphtha by systematic pre-test of chemical composition.The TLC identification method of Slender Sweet-flag established. The results showed that herbs from different regions have the same color spot as the control herbs. The shade of spots points out the differences of the component content.The content of water, total ash, acid-insoluble ash of Slender Sweet-flag sample from10different regions have been determined. According to the experiment results, it is temporarily regulated that the water in Slender Sweet-flag should not be over14.0%, total ash should not be over15.0%and acid-insoluble ash should not be over3.0%.The determination method for extraction has been established. The extraction contents of10samples are from16.11%-23.98%. It is temporarily regulated that the extraction content should not be less than17.0%.The cntent determination of volatile of Slender Sweet-flag sample from10different regions have been determined. The naphtha content of10samples are from1.64%-0.75%. It is temporarily regulated that the naphtha content should not be less than0.9%.The volatile oil of Slender Sweet-flag has element analysis research by GC-MS. The86compounds were separated and identified77of them kind of composition. The content expect is Estragole, the relative content of42.99%. The second is a-Cadinol and the relative content of6.20%. The third is1,1’-Bicyclopentyl-2,2’-diol and the relative content of4.86%. The fourth is β-Elemene and the relative content of3.81%.The UV-VIS method for determining the content of total flavonoids content of Slender Sweet-flag has been established. The results showed that the content of total flavonoids content in different are from2.96%-3.99%. May be the climate and soil are roughly similar of environment witch Slender Sweet-flag had grown, so the origin samples little differences between content.Through the research on the change law of dry matter accumulation and the accumulation dynamics of Effective Components of Slender Sweet-flag at different harvest time, it found that mid-April and mid-September are the best harvest time of Slender Sweet-flag.At the aspect of pharmacological action, the results of safety evaluation of Slender Sweet-flag showed that the biggest dose daily dosage for adults to267times, and there’s no obvious acute toxicity and it is safety. The medium dosage has good effect on a nalgesia and anti-inflammatory through pharmacodynamics of aqueous extract.According to the systematic pharmacognosy study on the dried herds of Acorus gramineus Soland., the medicinal value of Slender Sweet-flag has been proved and the foundation for further study and has been laid. This article may has a practical significance to developing and making use of folk medicine resources in our country. |
