ObjectiveTo investigate the expressions of androgen receptor (AR) in prostatic andtesticular tissue, and to research the rules of variational expression of AR inPCa’ s growth.Methods31patients, who had taken bilateral orchidectomy after prostatectomy ortransrectal prostate needle biopsy being taken, were divided by clinical stageinto two teams, and were divided by pathologic classification into three teams.Every tissue were analyzed by methods of immunohistochemistry.ResultsDifference among prostatic tissues: Compared with the early clinical stagegroup, AR expression increased in the advanced stage group (P<0.05). The ARexpression in prostatic tissues and clinical stage was positive correlation(P<0.01); the poorly differentiated group’s AR expression was significantlyhigher than the other two groups (P<0.01). The AR expression in prostatictissues and pathologic classification was positive correlation (P<0.05).Difference among testicular tissues: Compared with the early clinical stagegroup in testicular tissues, AR expression declined in the advanced stage group(P<0.05). AR expression in testicular tissues and clinical stage was negativecorrelation(P<0.05). No difference was found among teams of pathologicclassification for AR expression in testicular tissue(P>0.01). There was nocorrelation between AR expression of testicular tissues and pathologicclassification(P>0.05). It was found that no correlation of AR expression existed between prostatic and testicular tissues among both teams of clinical stage andgroups of pathologic classification(P>0.05).ConclusionIt is suggested that AR expression of prostates tissues has relation toclinical stage and pathologic classification. AR expression of prostates ispositive controlled in process of clinical stage and pathologic classification. ARexpression in testicular tissues has relation to clinical stage but has no relationto pathologic classification. AR in testicular tissues is downer gulated in clinicalstage. It might be implied that androgen level may changed by alteration of ARin testis. It is indicated that changes of AR in testis have no relation to alterationof AR expression in prostate tissue.
