Clinical Curative Effect Observation Of Ginkgo Biloba Extract For Patients With Cognitive Impairment After Traumatic Brain Injury

Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of Ginkgo biloba extract in the treatments of patients with cognitive impairment after traumatic brain injury and the medicinal value.Method60patients with traumatic brain injury patients met the inclusion study criteria were randomly divided into two groups (treatment and control groups).All the patients were treated with neurosurgery conventional treatments.And the treatment group in addition to conventional therapy, plused,"NS250ml+Kinnado injection70mg ivgtt qd" treatment for two weeks.and then took Kinnado drops for a month.The cognitive function of the two groups were evaluated with Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE) and the computer-assisted cognitive assessment system before the treatments,after one-month treatments and after six months’followed up respectively.Result The cognitive function of the treatment group was better than the control group after the treatments(P<0.01).The improvement of the cognitive function of the treatment group was superior to the control group by contrasting the difference in the before and after treatments(P<0.01).The cognitive function of the treatment group was better than the control group after six-months’s following-up(P<0.01).Conclusion It is significant efficient that Ginkgo biloba extract be used in the treatments of patients with cognitive impairment after traumatic brain injury.It can greatly improve the cognitive function of patients with traumatic brain injury and has a larger value in the treatment of the cognitive impairment after traumatic brain injury.
