The endoscopic removal of large colorectal polyps can reduces theincidence of colorectal cancer. The rate of recurrence is high aftertherapyed by EPMR, in our research we use EPMR accompanied by NBIin the treatment of colorectal polyps. Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of EPMR accompanied by NBI in thetreatment of colorectal polyps.Method:In125patients, a total of142large colorectal polyps (diameter,2cmor greater) between March2011and September2012,75polyps therapyby EPMR and67polyps therapy by EPMR accompanied by NBI.Complications were retrospectively reviewed.Result:In EPMR group, there were6cases of procedural bleeding(8.0%),bleeding after resection2cases (2.7%), recurrence was identified in10cases on follow-up examinations,(13.3%),no perforation; In EPMRaccompanied by NBI group, there are5cases of procedural bleeding(7.5%), bleeding after resection1case(1.5%), recurrence wasidentified in2case on follow-up examinations(3.0%), no perforation. Conclusion:The rate of recurrence after EPMR accompanied by NBI in thetreatment of large colorectal polyps was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference in complications between EPMR group and EPMRaccompanied by NBI group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).
