Peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) have been used toclinic massively. Consequently, side-effects become more extrusive. Doctors and nurses come to pay close attention to problems that how tolower complication rate. Many domestic and intern scholars agree that the application ofultrasound technique in PICC could improve one-time placement ratioand lower complication rate. In published reports, Comparisons are madein ultrasound-guided and blind vein puncture, but, here is no comparisonabout the application effect of different ultrasound technique in PICCpuncture guidance. Our research make a comprehensive analysis on thebasis of262clinical cases. We explore the application effect of CDFI(color doppler flowimaging) and site-rite V Ultrasound in reducing PICC complications.According to the result analysis of comparative experiment, we offer animprovement combining the application of CDFI(color doppler flowimaging) in vein selection and Site-rite V Ultrasound guided-puncture,with a purpose of reducing PICC complications. promoting PICC clinical development.OBJECTIVE:explore the application effect of CDFI(color dopplerflow imaging) in vein selection and Site-rite V Ultrasoundguided-puncture, with a purpose of reducing PICC complications.METHODS:262patients who arrived at the hospital from May2011to January2013required to undergo PICC were divided to theexperimental group (n=153)and control group(n=109) according to theywere in hospital in tine sequence, patients in experimental group applyCDFI(color doppler flow imaging) to select vein for placement, usesite-rite V Ultrasound to guide PICC placement. Patients in controlgroup apply site-rite V Ultrasound to guide PICC puncture.RESULTS:Significant differences were observed among the rateof catheter related clot, mechanical phlebitis between the twogroups(P<0.05, P <0.05).CONCLUSIONS:the application of CDFI in vein selection andultrasound-guided puncture can reduce incidence of catheter relatedthrombosis and mechanical phlebitis.
