Objective:to study the superiorities of Colonic exclusion, through the observing the treatment effect of Colonic exclusion and Cubtotal colectomy for Colonic slow transit constipation.Mehtods:60Solonic slow transit constipation patients who had determined to receive operation were selected in Chengdu Proctology Hospital during2009,12-2011,11, and divided t into the experimental group and the control group randomly,30cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with Colonic exclusion, while the control group randomly was treated with Cubtotal colectomy. Then the indicators such as safety, treatment outcome, complications, operation time, operation incision length, intraoperative blood loss, length of hospital stay, hospital charges were observing and recorded. SPSS15.0was used,P<0.05stands for statistical difference. Results:Colonic exclusion has more superiorities than Subtotal colectomy. Among them:the results of Colonic exclusion and Cubtotal colectomy are similar at efficacy, safety, recurrence rate etc;but Colonic exclusion has the superiorities:Short operation time, operation small incision, less bleeding, less complications, shortened hospitalization, and less hospitalization costs. Conclusion:Colonic exclusion has positive effect in the treatment of STC, but also save the medical resources, reduce the suffering of patients, being more conducive to the rehabilitation of patients.
