| Objective:Study on the Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction on scald in rats, in order to develop new high efficiency, low toxicity and provide experimental basis for treating scald.Methods:In50rats, male and female in half, were randomly divided into five groups, namely the normal saline group, silver sulfadiazine cream positive control group, Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction in high dose group (1g/ml), Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction dose group (0.5g/ml), Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction dose group (0.25g/ml). The rat back into deep second degree scald model, sterile operation, exposure therapy, five groups with a cotton swab dipped in liquid applied directly to the wound,2times a day. Observed after administration of wound healing, wound healing rate and healing through the length of time to evaluate drug efficacy.Results:1,Scald wound appearance changes:five group through continuous dressing was observed, both in the quantity of wound, wound infection and pus by reducing the time and speed, large doses of Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction group and silver sulfadiazine cream group was better than the saline control group.2,wound healing rate:high-dose Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction group and silver sulfadiazine group in the wound healing rate compared with the normal saline group and there was significant difference in(P<0.05). Moderate doses of Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction group21days and the saline group and there was significant difference in wound healing rate compared to (P<0.05). A small dose of Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction group on wound healing to also have stimulative effect, but compared with saline group had no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:1, Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction, in large dose and dose can accelerate wound healing.2, Rumex japonicus Houtt water decoction in large doses and dose, can significantly improve the burn wound infection. |
