| ObjectiveAt present,Imaging examination(such as Ultrasonography,CT andMRI)and clinical biochemistry on fatty liver disease qualitative diagnosis has acertain value, but, there are certain subjectivity, the quantitative diagnosis of thefatty liver lack of effective method, this study aims to discuss a quantitativediagnosis value of patients with different degree fatty liver by ultrasonic tissuecharacterization of Echo Intensity(EI) Quantitative Analysis. in order to explorea new way for a quantitative diagnosis of fatty liverMethods90patients with fatty liver and30healthy people were involved in ourstudy. According to the CT quantity, traditional diagnosis standard of fatty liverdisease by ultrasound and clinical biochemistry,we can divide fatty liverdisease into mild, moderate and severe three levels. At the same time, weusing ultrasound of quantification software QLAB of Echo Intensity to measurethe two-dimensional ultrasongraphy of the liver in the near, middle and far field, the gallbladder and the EI ratio of the liver and kidney.ResultsCompared with normal control group, the liver EI value of the near, middlefield and the EI ratio of the liver and kidney in patients with fatty liver were allshowed was significantly higher, but the liver EI value of the far field in patientswith fatty liver were showed significantly reduced,Moreover, the patients with heavier pathological damage, the difference showed much moresignificantly(P<0.05). The EI value of gallbladder in middle and severe groupswere both reached the significantly higher when compared with normal controlgroup (P<0.05),while in the mild group showed no statisticaldifference(P>0.05). and The liver EI value of the near, middle, far field, and theEI ratio of the liver and kidney of all three groups had a significant differencerespectively when compared to each other(P<0.05).ConclusionsUltrasonic tissue characterization of Echo Intensity(EI) value QuantitativeAnalysis can offer ultra imageology information for clinical appraising theseverity of fatty liver, so it may has a clinical utility value both in diagnose anddegree differentiate for fatty liver patients. And it may also provide a much moreconvenient and useful way for quantitative diagnosis of fatty liver disease. |
