Objective:To investigate the expression and significance of galanin,CgA and Syn in prostatecarcinoma (PCa) tissue and neuroendocrine cells,that provide the basis for clinicaldiagnosis and treatment and prognosis.Method:The samples of50cases with PCa were selected as PCa group,and30cases with bonemetastasis PCa were selected as BM group,and50cases with benign prostatic hyperplasiawere selected as BPH group.The galanin and CgA and Syn expressions in the tissue wereobserved in the three groups by immunohistochemical staining method,and analysis thepositive expression and clinical significance of galanin and CgA and Syn in PCa tissue andneuroendocrine cells.Results:1.Galanin positive expression rate was80%in the bone metastasis PCa group,andwas68%in the PCa group,and was18%in the BPH group,the positive expression rate inthe BM and PCa was higher than BPH group,they were significant differences(P<0.01),but there was no significant differences between BM and PCa group(P>0.05);CgA positive expression rate was70%in the bone metastasis PCa group,andwas46%in the PCa group,and was16%in the BPH group,there were significantdifferences in the three groups(P<0.01);Syn positive expression rate was50%in the bonemetastasis PCa group,and was38%in the PCa group,and was12%in the BPH group,thepositive expression rate in the BM and PCa was higher than BPH group,they weresignificant differences(P<0.01),but there was no significant differences between BM andPCa group(P>0.05).2.The combination of galanin and CgA and Syn have a more positive expression thansingle parameter significantly.The positive expression of the three parameters have a positive relationship with Gleason score and PCa clinical stages.3.The positive expression of galanin in the PCa tissue and neuroendocrine cells wasidentify with CgA and Syn, and have significant differences.Conclusions:1.Galanin,CgA and Syn have a higher positive expression rate than BPH,the threeparameters may be as a indicators for diagnosising prostate cancer and monitor theneuroendocrine differentiation.2.The positive expression of galanin and CgA and Syn have a positive relationshipwith Gleason score and PCa clinical stages.3.The combination of galanin and CgA and Syn have a more positive expression forPCa tissue and neuroendocrine differentiation,and have the certain clinical significanceregarding and diagnosis in the PCa.4.The positive expression of galanin in the PCa tissue and neuroendocrine cells wasidentify with CgA,it can be used with diagnosis and monitor neuroendocrine diff--erentiation in PCa.
