Objectives:to investigate occupational health status of enterprise with benzene hazard of Gongshu district in Hangzhou. analysing the influence factors of occupational hazards, and to evaluate health risks of employee. To put forward Suggestions to improve the occupational health service Combined with the law on occupational diseases prevention and control.Methods:With the method of census, investigating135enterprises on benzene and1469workers exposed to benzene by Self-designed questionnaires. Choosing administrative, logistics personnel from being exposed to benzene as control group to analysis of the effect of benzene on related health indicator; Using inhaled risk assessment model recommended by USEPA to semi-quantitative assessment the risk of cancer and non-cancer of staff exposed to benzene.Results:1.Most of the companies involved in benzene are small or medium-sized enterprises, mainly in automobile, printing, electronics and chemical industry; Workers exposed to benzene are mainly young men oroutsiders.2.process involved in benzene has caused substantial damage to contacts, especially women; Most companies’concentration of benzene conforms to the national standards but the printing industry.3. The occupational health management of enterprises in Gongshu is better than others, the coverage rate of basic occupational health services and employees’ awareness of occupational hazard factors is relatively high, but the wearing rate of respirator (58%) and occupational health examination rate(68.9%) is low.4.Health risk evaluation results showed that94.3%of workers exposed to benzene have a risk of reduce of white blood cells.13.4%of them have higher risk of benzene leukemia.Conclusion:Gongshu district has build a perfect system of benzene poisoning control and prevention, the occupational hazards associate with benzene is relatively light, but there are still shortcomings from the macro perspective, we need to further perfect the law on the prevention and control of occupational diseases, formulate local regulations and management measures and strengthen occupational health supervision according to law; With the intervention of trade unions, associations and other non-governmental forces, new occupational health supervision and service model, which is suitable for regional economic scale and structure, need to be explored, and to try health risk assessment based on health care. From the micro perspective. Using non-toxic solvent to substitute materials containing benzene should be encouraged, and we should reinforcecirculation management of raw materials containing benzene. Strengthen the occupation health training, enhance employee’s awareness of Self-protect ion and carry out the Special regulation on key industries and population.
