Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Five-Steps-Cheirapsis and magnetic therapy sticker on ST25in treating infantile noninfectious diarrhea and analyze its function and characters.Methods:60infants who were diagnosed noninfectious diarrhea were divided into treatment group, control group1and control group2,20infants in each group treatment group were treated by the combined use of Five-Steps-Cheirapsis and magnetic therapy sticker on ST25while control group1was given smecta on the basis of the same treatment, and control group2were just given smecta, then each symptom score of three groups before and after treatment, the changes of the total symptom score and each safety index were observed and through statistical treatment, its clinical efficacy and safety were also evaluated. Results:The clinical observation showed that the total effective rate in treatment group and control group1was both100.0%,which was85.0%in control group2;the cure rate was85.0%in treatment group,90.0%in control group1and50.0%in control group2;For the clinical efficacy of TCM syndrome, the total effective rate was100.0%in treatment group and control group1, and75.0%in control group2;Compared the total integral of TCM syndrome in three groups before and after therapy,P<0.01.Compared the integral of each TCM syndrome,P<0.05.Compared the integral of stool frequency, stool property, anorexia, nausea and vomiting, abdominal distension painful and complexion, P<0.01.There were significant differences in the comparison of the total integral of TCM syndrome, the integral of stool frequency, anorexia, abdominal distension painful, complexion in three groups after treatment(P<0.05), and differences in mental status (P<0.05),but no significant differences in stool property, nausea and vomiting(P>0.05);There were no significant differences in the comparison of the total integral of TCM syndrome and integral of each syndrome between treatment group and control group1after therapy (P>0.05);There were significant differences in the comparison of the integral of anorexia and abdominal distension painful (P<0.01), and differences in the comparison of the total integral of TCM syndrome, the integral of stool frequency, complexion, mental status (P<0.05), but no significant differences in stool property, nausea and vomiting (P>0.05) between treatment group and control group2after therapy; There were significant differences in the comparison of the total integral of TCM syndrome and integral of stool frequency, anorexia and complexion (P< 0.01),and differences in mental status, abdominal distension painful (P<0.05),but no significant differences in stool property, nausea and vomiting (P>0.05) between control group1and control group2after therapy.Conclusion:Five-Steps-Cheirapsis and magnetic therapy sticker on ST25can obviously ease infantile noninfectious diarrhea, and it can’t apparently improve therapeutic efficacy when smecta added.Cheirapsis and magnetotherapy complement each other, they are nonmedicine therapy, safe, free of side-effects, easy to use and worthy of being widely applied in clinic.
