Clinical Comparative Observation Of Red And Blue LED Light Combination Adapalene Phototherapy In The Treatment Of Medium And Sever Acne

Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Omnilux blue and red light combination0.1%adapalene phototherapy for medium and sever acneMethods:The patients diagnosed with moderate and sever acne were randomly dividedinto three groups,they are adapalene group,blue and red light group and blue and red lightcombination adapalene group.Adapalene group use0.1%adapalene gel for topical externalapplication alone.Every night will apply to the affected part, for4weeks. Before use the redand blue light treatment clean facial skin,the patients with supine position, wear protectivegoggles,put the red and blue light acne irradiation therapeutic unit set above the face ofpatients, the treatment unit set is arranged from the needing treatment facial skin above theposition of the8-10cm, red and blue light group with red and blue light irradiation treatmentof20min each time,2times a week, for4weeks. Red and blue light combination adapalenegroup with red and blue light treatment,20min each time,2times a week, for4weeks, andat the same time with0.1%adapalene gel applied to the affected area,1times every night.During the treatment, and adverse reaction of patients per week. Before and after treatmentof acne through global acne grading system(GAGS)score to determine the effect of thechange.Results: Comparison of red and blue light combination adapalene group, adapalenegroup and red and blue group GAGS score of (P<0.05), showed there was significantdifference. The effective rate of red and blue light combination adapalene group was68.75%, red and blue light group was48.39%, adapalene group was36.67%, there wassignificant difference between three groups (P<O.05).Conclusion: Combination blue and red LED light therapy with0.1%adapalene appearsto have better curative rate and effective rate than traditional medicine in treating acne.
