Diagnostic Value Of⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI Imaging Combined With Serum Parathroid Hormone Of Hyperparathyroidism

Objective:To analyze the results of⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging and parathyroid hormone （PTH） of43cases of suspected primary hyperparathyroidism （PHPT） and evaluate evaluate thediagnostic value of⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging combined with serum parathroid hormone （PTH）measurement for hyperparathyroidism （PHPT）.Subjects and Methods:43patients with suspicious PHPT underwent⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging and serum PTHmeasurement. Postoperative pathology was the gold standard for PHPT. To compare andevaluate the sensitivity，specificity，positive predictive value， negative predictive value，accuracy， negative likelihood and positive likelihood of⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging, PTHmeasurement,⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging combined with serum PTH measurement.Results:（1）The pathologically confirmed PHPT a total of32cases, which accounted for81.25%of parathyroid adenoma,6.25%of parathyroid hyperplasia,3.13%of parathyroidcysts,9.37%of parathyroid carcinoma.（2）The sensitivity，specificity，positive predictivevalue, negative predictive value, accuracy, negative likelihood and positive likelihood of⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging, PTH measurement,⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging combined with serum PTHmeasurement were93.75%VS84.38%VS100%，45.50%VS54.55%VS36.36%，83.33%VS84.38%VS88.89%，71.4%VS54.55%VS100%，81.40%VS76.74%VS83.72%,1.72VS1.85VS1.57and0.14VS0.29VS0, respectively．（3）AUC of the ROC curve was EURT/N=0.768, T/S=0.678; DUR T/N=0.787, T/S=0.711. It showed that the diagnostic kit wassuitable for PHPT. DUR T/N value of diagnostic kit was determined and interpreted at1.85, at this point sensitivity was63.6%, specificity was85.4%. The doubtable value interval of T/Nwas1.29to1.85.Conclusion:On diagnosis of PHPT，⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging combined with serum PTH measurementhas higher value than⁹⁹Tc^m-MIBI imaging and serum PTH measurement.
