Objective: To investigate the clinical value of the99mTc-MIBI imaging in differentialdiagnosis in solitary malignant and benign lesion of spine and to compare with the resultof99Tcm-MDP imaging. Methods:76patients (55malignant cases,21benign cases)studied with both99Tcm-MDP imaging and99Tcm-MIBI imaging performed30min afterinjection of740MBq within3days,Gaining both the diagnostic performance of99Tcm-MDP imaging and99Tcm-MIBI imaging and the best ratio to T/N Using ROC curve. Results: With76cases of solitary spinal lesions(55malignant cases) planar imaging of99Tcm-MDP sensitivity was89.09%, imaging of99Tcm-MDP SPECT/CT sensitivitywas80.00%, planar imaging of99Tcm-MIBI sensitivity was81.82%, imaging of99Tcm-MIBI SPECT/CT sensitivity was92.73%; the specificity of99Tcm-MIBI SPECTimaging(85.71%) was the highest in the four kinds imaging. In quantitative analysis of99Tcm-MIBI scan, the mean T/N ratio of malignant lesions (2.45±0.79,2.96±0.89) weresignificantly higher than that of benign counterparts (1.30±0.34,1.39±0.38,P<0.05);butIn quantitative analysis of99Tcm-MDP scan, the mean T/N ratio of malignant lesions(2.61±0.90) and benign counterparts (2.37±0.59)were not significantly.the area underROC curve of99Tcm-MIBI imaging was the bigger than the that of99Tcm-MDP.Conclusion: The better diagnostic value in the99Tcm-MIBI imaging than99Tcm-MDPscintigraphy in single bone lesion of spine.
