| Objective: The comparative analysis of elderly patients and youngpatients with clinical and pathological features and molecular biologicalcharacteristics of triple negative breast cancer (ER, PR and HER-2werenegative).Methods: Retrospective analysis the50cases in the Second Hospitalof Jilin University, from January2010to October2012newly diagnosedtriple negative breast cancer patients, elderly patients (age≧60years)21cases, young patients (≤35years)29cases. Differences between the twogroups were compared immunohistochemical examination of theexpression of related molecular markers, family history of cancer, histological type, TNM staging, then analyze the correlation anddifferences of clinical pathological and molecular biologicalcharacteristics of triple-negative breast cancer in elderly patients andyoung patients. Results: TNBC in two groups, the immunohistochemistry indicatorsKi67and P53expression was statistically significant (P <0.05); EGFR,CK14expression was not statistically significant ((P>0.05). Theproportion of cases in the elderly patients with pathological type ofinvasive ductal carcinoma(81.0%) was significantly higher than youngpatients (51.7%),(P <0.05). The positive rate of the two groups withfamilial history of cancer and was no significant difference as well asTNM stage (P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Expression of Ki67in elderly patients with triple negative breastcancer is positive rate higher.2. P53expression positive rate is higher in young patients. 3. Pathological type of triple negative breast cancer is invasive ductalcarcinoma, and a higher proportion of elderly patients.4. Two groups of triple negative breast cancer patients with breast cancera higher rate of positive family history, but no significant differencebetween the two groups.5. The TNM staging contrast to the situation in old age group and youthgroup two sets of triple negative breast cancer patients was nosignificant difference. |
