objective: to study the new adjuvant chemotherapy for â… b2-â…¡b periodthe curative effect of cervical cancer. Methods: Choose between January2009and January2011in ourhospital after pathologic diagnosis of85cases of cervical cancer patients, divided into observation group and surgery group,40cases of surgicaltreatment directly, as control group, according to the situation ofoperation and postoperative pathologic result to decide whether to requirefollow-up treatment and related treatments. The remaining45cases givessystemic vein chemotherapy in1-3period of treatment, the assessmentwill be made according to FIGO staging reduced to less than â…¡b lesionssignificantly shrink the radical surgery, as a group. On the results wereretrospectively analyzed.Results:45patients with cervical cancer after1-3courses ofchemotherapy tumor diameter majority have different degrees of shrink,including9cases of patients with invalid (PD+SD), including:2caseswere squamous carcinoma, adenocarcinoma,7cases. The total effectiverate was80%, and â… b2period effective rate was80%, type â…¡a stage, effective rate was80%, stage â…¡b effectiveness66.7%, p>0.05, there wasno statistically significant difference.Different tumor types squamous cell carcinomas in the total effective rate was92%, total effective rate65%,adenocarcinoma p<0.05, the difference was statistically significant.Noobvious change in operation time.Intraoperative blood loss of observationgroup was obviously less than control group, p <0.05, the difference wasstatistically significant.Observation group of lymph node metastasis ratewas19.4%, among them â… b2period in2cases, type â…¡a stage2, stage â…¡b(3cases), control group in lymph node metastasis rate was35%, amongthem9cases of â… b2period patients,8cases for type â…¡a stage patients. p <0.05, the difference was statistically significant.Vascular infiltration rateof observation group was22.2%, positive rate was45%, the control groupp<0.05, the difference was statistically significant.Observation groupvaginal cut edge positive rate2.8%, control group vaginal cut edgepositive rate5%, p>0.05, there was no statistically significantdifference. The side reaction of chemotherapy in38cases,7cases with noresponse, the main reaction characterized by nausea, vomiting, slightbone marrow suppression and hair loss. But all are mild reaction, givesymptomatic treatment after all can normal complete chemotherapytreatment, chemotherapy after2weeks review of routine blood, noobvious abnormal was found in all blood biochemistry, liver and kidneyfunction.Survival rate comparison, observation group3years overallsurvival was87.0%, control group was81.8%, p>0.05, there was nostatistically significant difference.3year disease-free survival rate of preoperative chemotherapy group was78.3%, control group was50%, p<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion:Neoadjuvant chemotherapy of â… b2-stage â…¡b cervicalcancer curative effect significantly, improve the resection rate, reduce theintraoperative blood loss, lower vascular infiltration, lymph nodemetastasis and improve disease-free survival rate, and adverse reactionmild, safe and effective.Paclitaxel plus carboplatin solution for cervicalsquamous cell carcinomas curative effect is obvious, relatively poor inadenocarcinoma.
