Objectives:In the past in the auricular points, nail signs, palm prints, tongues specific signs reported in primary hepatocellular carcinoma, there are more studies on auricular points, while the reports on nails and palm print features are more like cases or empirical introduction, and there is still a lack of statistical studies of larger samples. The specific research on tongue at present is primari ly the observation and analysis of liver gall line. This research attempts to consolidate the specific signs in the four aspects of primary hepatic carcinoma and add the findings from iris diagnostics, comparatively study5signs above of60cases of chronic viral hepatitis complicated by hepatocellular carcinoma patients with simple chronic viral hepatitis, liver sclerosis patients, figure out statistical differences on all observations, and strive to find out the diagnostic value of TCM method on primary hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods:Consulted previously published papers and all books on diagnosis of auricular points, nails, palm prints, iris and tongue in the library of BUCM, picked out5kinds of signs which had significance or suggest ion on diagnos is of liver cancer, and plotted as a table. Divided60chronic viral hepatitis, liver sclerosis patients and60chronic viral hepatitis complicated by hepatocellular carcinoma patients into two groups, observe and record positive signs by methods such as observing by the naked eye, detect ing by aur icular point detect ion pen and press ing wi th the hand. If pat ients agreed, cameras were used to record some significant positive signs. SPSS17.0statistical software was used to complete the statistical analysis. By analyzing whether each observing project between the two groups had statistical differences, the specific sign of primary hepatocellular carcinoma could be found out. Then analyzed whether there were statistical differences between each group about the frequency of the signs staled above which had statistical differences according to whether a newly diagnosed patienl in a week, different liver fund ion classificalion, Ircated by which method, whether there were specific symptoms grouping in liver area with patients in livcr cancer group.Results:(1) The two groups of patients with the auricular point tumor-specific area I indicator showed significant difference P=0.024(P<0.05),(2) Patients with liver cancer were prone ridge on the right hand nails than pat ients wi thoul1i ver cancer;(3)16.7%of patients in liver cancer group had dark gray or brown spots in liver area of auricular point, while only1.7%of pat ients in non-liver cancer group had dark gray or brown spots, so the two groups had statistically significant difference (P<0.05);(4)18.3%of liver cancer group patients could be seen abnormal blood gas symbol on the right ring finger, while only3.3%of the non-liver cancer patients had abnormal blood gas symbol in the right hand ring finger nails, so the two groups had statistically significant difference (P<0.05);(5)13.3%of patients with liver cancer had a short palm print line2, while only1.7%of non-liver cancer pat ients had a short palm print line2, so the two groups were statistical ly different (P<0.05);(6)21.7%of patients in the liver cancer group had unclear boundaries dark brown or dark green or reddish-brown spots in palm liver area, whi le only1.7%of the pat ients in the non-1iver cancer group had spots on the palm liver area, so the two groups had significant statist ical difference (P<0.01);(7) Comprehensive conclusion:53.3%of patients with liver cancer had one or more positive signs in the4aspects as dark spots in liver area of auricular point, abnormal blood gas symbol on the right ring finger, short palm print line2and spots in palm liver area, while only6.7%of the non-liver cancer patients had posi t ive s igns, so the two groups had significant stat ist ical difference (P<0.01);(8) There were no significant difference (P>0.05) between groups about the frequency of the positive signs when liver cancer patients were grouped by newly diagnosed or referral, different liver function classification, whether there were specific symptoms or treated by which method previously. Conclusion:The average resistance of tumor-specific area Ⅰ auricle tissue of patients in liver cancer group was lower compared with non-liver cancer group, which indicated that in hepatocarcinogenesis the organization structure of the tumor-specific area I had corresponding change; Patients with liver cancer were prone ridge on the right hand nails than patients without liver cancer; Patients in liver cancer group were more likely seen dark gray or brown spots in liver area of auricular point, abnormal blood gas symbol on the right ring finger, short palm print line2, dark brown or dark green or reddish-brown spots in palm liver area, and the positive signs of patients with liver cancer was independent of liver function, could be seen without specific symptoms in liver area, with local treatment and general medical treatment.
