Objective: By statistics hospitalized cases of clinical BOClumbar fusion surgery patients lumbar disc herniation, analysisinvestigate efficacy TCM comprehensive treatment of lumbar discherniation in patients with postoperative recovery.Methods：Clinical observations, to collect the Wuhan CityIntegrative Medicine Hospital between March2011to October2012,suffering from lumbar disc herniation lumbar posterior singlelumbar discectomy+spinal decompression and the lumbar bone graftcage insertionfusion+pedicle screw fixation surgery hospitalmedical records of60patients, according different treatment,divided into traditional Chinese medicine group and the controlgroup. Chinese medicine group of30patients, including9males and21females, dialectical Liu Wei Di Huang Wan+oral proprietaryChinese herbal fumigation segmented treatment therapy (traditionalChinese medicine group); control group of30patients, including10males and20females, celecoxib capsules in combination with oralmedication treatment+mecobalamin piece(control group). Both groups in preoperative postoperative day1, two weeks after scoreand after a month after the referral follow-up score. For low backpain JOA quantization tables and visual analog scale (VAS) ratingscore, comparing preoperative, postoperative follow-up score threescore after two weeks after ratings and1month after recovery.Result TCM group, the control group after treatment,2weeksand January were followed up for low back pain JOA score score, VASscore, the difference was significant statistically significant (P<0.05).TCM group and control group in treatment lumbar disc herniationin January total effective rate was96.67%; Chinese treatmentlumbar disc herniation lumbar fusion surgery after total effectiveratio of76.67%; treatment of lumbar control groupdisc herniationlumbar fusion surgery after total effective rate was60.0%; Chinesemedicine group were significantly better than in control group.
