| Objective：The incidence of herpes zoster (HZ) is increasing in recent years, the herpeszoster virus (HZV) get into the cells of ganglions and skins, and (HZV)is easyto develop to PHN, which can seriously affect the patients’both physical andpsychological health, seriously reduce the quality of patients life.A largenumber of studies show that acupuncture and physiotherapy can acceleratesimplex absorption, shorten the course of disease, improve immunity,improvethe function of organs,rapid relief from pain, and has obvious advantage inpreventing sequela etc. According to the theory of Chinese traditionalmedicine,organs cooperate with each other regularly, if there are someproblems in any link,the organism is prone to produce hot and humid abnormally, the abnormal hot and humid retention on the skin then formsimplex. In recent years, eye-acupuncture of traditional Chinese medicinehave significant effect in the treatment of many body’s systems.Suchas,circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, endocrine systemand other systems also have significant effect in the treatment of many kindsof diseases and pain. Semiconductor laser can promote the blood circulation,deaden edema, promote the regeneration of capillary, enhance iminunity.According to surgery of traditional Chinese medicine, to curer the skindiseases should choose encircling drugs, which can limit the extension ofcarbuncle or extinct the carbuncles and sores.I,as the author,have beeninspired then invented a method named encirling acupuncture (a kind ofacupuncture therapy which can encircle pathogen, reduce or eliminateinflammatory reaction and pain). In this paper, through clinical observationon the effect of eye acupuncture and encirling acupuncture combined withsemiconductor laser irradiation for the treatment of herpes zoster, author inorder to provide clinical guidelines and application of a reliable basis for thetreatment of herpes zoster.Methods：This study observed60cases of herpes zoster patients,they are allfrom Rehabilitation Department and Department of Dermatology of theChinese people’s Liberation Army Second Artillery General Hospital.Thecases which are accorded with the diagnostic standard of clinic patients arerandomly divided into two groups: Eye acupuncture with encirling acupuncture and semiconductor laser irradiation (treatment group), oralwestern medicine method and semiconductor laser irradiation (the controlgroup). Each course of treatment is10days, and after22,30,60,90days offollow-up. Analysis of efficacy of patients in each group, and based on theevaluation indexes of herpes and pain evaluation indexes.Result:1.Comparison of comprehensive curative effect: treatment group cured26cases, the total effective rate was96.67%, the control group cured18cases,the total effective rate was73.33%. Comparison of two groups, withsignificant difference (P<0.01).2.Comparison based on evaluation index of herpes: comparison of treatmentgroup and control group in the cessation of time, time to crusting, results havesignificant difference (P<0.01).3.Comparison based on pain evaluation index: comparison of treatment groupand control group in the analgesic effect, with a significantdifference(P<0.01),The treatment group analgesic effect were superior to the control group(P<0.01), time to pain relief, there are significant differences between twogroups (P<0.01), The time needed for the pain began to ease of treatmentgroup was shorter than the control group (P<0.01).4.Incidence of post-herpetic neuralgia. Follow-up on two groups of patients in30days, data has significant difference. The therapy that eye acupuncture and the encirling acupuncture combinedwith semiconductor laser therapeutic efficacy is positive for treatment ofherpes zoster. It can accelerate the repair of patients skin eruption, effectspecially, make the nerve injury recover better,and through thistreatment,nerve pain degree is reduced, the clinical symptoms of the patientseffectively, post-herpetic neuralgia incidence was significantly reduced. Inaddition, compared with western medicine it can operate quickly., is effectivein treatment and convenient in use with insignificant toxicity and side effects.It is a new way of clinical therapy in the treatment of herpes zoster, and can bea optimal scheme of treatment. |
