| Since2009, National essential medicine institution has been established in Chinaand has achieved some success. However, some of the deficiencies in the institutionexposed in the implementation process, health institutions unable to meet the needs ofthe people’s basic health services, hinderingthe continued progress of the medical andhealth system, there is an urgent need to improve the national essential medicineinstitution and people’s basic health services need to adapt.Based on analysis of the operating results of the national essential medicineinstitution in Suzhou found that poor selection of essential medicines mechanism,essential medicine procurement mechanisms behind different compensation mechanismof essential drugs and other reasons, resulting in the lack of grass-roots healthinstitutions drugs with essential medicine artificially high prices, the impact of equitableaccess to essential drugs and other issues.New institutional economics system of supply and demand theory as the basicanalysis paradigm, from the willingness and ability of the system supply theoreticalanalysis of the root of the problem of national essential drug system target generalmakes the system supply suited to system requirements, and institutional environmentreform lags behind the lack of innovation and design of the system has increased thecost of the system supply, reducing the efficiency of the system supply.Lastly, learn the advanced experience form international essential medicineinstitution, under the "new medical reform" and "building a harmonious society"background, put forward to promote the essential drugs selection governance,strengthen the role of the Census and supply-led, to speed up the reform of the relevantsupporting systems, to promote the rational use of essential drugs and otherrecommendations to improve the national essential drug system. |
