Even its percentage was more than 80%of the total selenium in Se-enriched yeast. The residents in different mercury-exposure levels were chosen to test malonaldehyde(MDA)concentrations in their urine by thiobarbituric acid technique. The data showed that mercury poison had a positive correlation with high MDA in urine and that the injury of individuals in high mercury-exposure level was more serious than in low level. It made conclusion that the supplement selenium for people on high mercury-exposure condition was helpful to reduce the content of Hg in human urine and that Se played an important role against mercury injury. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Selenium, speciation, HPLC, ICP-MS, mercury injury, selenium antagonism, MDA | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
