The Experimental Study On The Safety Of The Shoutai Pills’ Influence On The Growth Of The Big Ears Fertilized White Female Rabbits’ Litter

Objective:Experiment designded to observe the life of shoutai pills of different doses of fetal ear of large white female rabbit litter fertilization potential teratogenic effects,as well as to the performance of developmental toxicity,thus revealing the existence of development toxicity and teratogenicity.Method:115 Healthy sexual maturation of female big-ear white rabbit fertilization were randomly divided into 4 groups, they were Solvent control group, low dose shoutai pills group, fetal dose shoutai pills group, high dose shoutai pills group. Different dose of SCP is 2.5g/kg, lOg/kg, 40g/kg, administered 2 times daily,13 days for delivery in the first six days of pregnancy. Pregnant rabbits at 29 days pregnant were Executed for effect of litter size:check and record carefully the numbers of the dead, living and absorbed embryo. Add up the three figures and set down the total number of the nidation; recording litter size/litter size of the number of nest, cutting the uterus and weighing litter, separating the placenta and weighing, checking and recording the litter male and female sex ratio, checking and recording the fetal viscerakl、thoracic rib、Abnormal number and number of ribs、the number of occipital bone ossification、not full and the failure rate.Results:1.Compared with the solvent control group, the visceral and skeletal development status of Litter were no significant difference among the three dose groups, proving to be no significant expect on development of the litter.2.Compared with the solvent control group, the physical development status of the litter(The average litter weight and placental weight, sex ratio of the litter) were no significant difference among the three dose groups, proving to be no significant expect on development of the litter.3. Compared with the solvent control group, the fetal reproductive status(The rate of live births, the stillbirth rate, birth rate of absorption, teratism rate)were no statistically significant difference among the three dose groups, proving to be no significant expect on development of the litter.Conclusion:In this experiment under conditions defined by the institute,shoutai pills is development of the fetal effects of non-toxic.It indicates that it ist affected to reproductive toxicity for Chinese-white pregnant rabbit on shoutai pills in 40g/Kg.
