In recent years, with the development of modern science and technology and cultural appreciation research which mutual combination, more and more modern scientific and technological methods of scientific research in ancient ceramics has been widely used in the structure of the ancient ceramics, such as structure ,chemical element composition, thermal properties, state of physical properties (density and porosity, etc) as well as the analysis test have become the important content of ancient ceramics research, including ancient ceramics chemical element composition analysis is the foundation of ancient ceramics scientific research. In ancient ceramics research, which plays an important role for the study, provide corresponding scientific information including the origin, raw materials of ceramic types, provenance study, firing technology evolution and produce circulation. However, the ancient ceramics samples have many different features compare with other samples, such as precious samples composed serious internal uniformity etc; Because of the characteristics of ancient ceramics samples are different from other samples,how to do the targeted accurate quantitative analysis many different kinds ancient ceramics, become the accurate quantitative analysis of ancient ceramics technology researchers concerns a hot issue.This paper use XRF, ICP-AES, chemical analysis method analyzed the different types of typical ancient ceramics, by contrast analysis this several analysis method can measure corresponding element type, scope and to achieve the different sensitivity and on the sample form requirement and sample preparation, the degree of different test and measuring the advantages and disadvantages of sample, summarizes that a serious non-uniform ancient ceramics and glaze painted porcelain, high temperature glaze and low temperature glaze porcelain have appropriate test technology and methods; And methods of analysis concerning the establishment of the test conditions are analyzed and discussed, obtained in ancient ceramics in a special test sample of the most suitable sample preparation methods which in test voltage, time and parameter conditions. In addition, in order to use EDXRF method to the accurate quantitative and nondestructive analysis of ancient ceramic glaze layer elements. The subject on the basis of previous studies, reference ancient ceramics database of physical chemistry of ancient ceramics enamel elements of the characteristic, successfully firing then use Na2CO3, MgO ,KNO3,etc. as the main raw materials for analysis standard reference in non-destructive ancient ceramic glaze. It provide powerful support to the scientific and technological research of ancient ceramics get more accurate and rich elements information.
