Characteristics of traditional Chinese painting art form form in the early Western Han Dynasty to the early Warring States period of time, the paintings of this period are mainly Mawangdui tomb painting and silk painting. In the geographical distribution, they are within the scope Chu, where Chu, custom painting is bound to have penetration and impact. On the paintings.This article ,aiming at Mawangdui tomb painting and silk painting for the study of images, by way of the two burial style of painting, composition and painting form language and other aspects of analysis and comparison, combined with ideology of that time .tries to reveal the traditional Chinese painting rules of this time. The Transfer of Chinese painting can be summarized as the following rules: 1. Painting media changes from the paint to the silk painting and the corresponding language, such as changes in aesthetic thought. 2, the expansion of subject matter and transfer of interest in painting.3. Ideological change and the change of drawing content from God to Man . Thus the early Western Han Dynasty to the early Warring States period of time is characteristic of traditional Chinese painting to form a critical period of Chinese painting, which is also an important turning point. Typical characteristics of Chinese painting, can be found in paintings of this period.
