| At the beginning of this thesis, the author guide us to tracing back to the history of lacquer-painting and show that lacquer work had a refulgence history as an important commodity in our country. Lacquer-painting derive from lacquer work but grow with lacquer-skill. Along with the development of the age, the decoration of lacquer-painting replace the practicability of it, lacquer-painting has been a newly fascinated kind of painting. The histories of lacquer-painting decide both the artistry and the technical character of itself. We find the beauty of the material and the color by the invention of lacquer-painting also the wide compatibility. Lacquer-painting come to have its own special language and have the unique expressive force by imbibing the strong point of all kind of painting. A lacquer-painter should use the different material of lacquer serve for the works by having the character of lacquer. During the invention, a lacquer-painter should also think much of choosing the materials and using the different techniques, find the most right language to show his comprehension and consideration of the real life, at the same time ,show the beauty of lacquer-painting.
