The "Classic of Poetry" is the earliest collection of poetry in China. It’s one of theimportant sources of Chinese literature and culture, and contains profound civilizationmemory and profound cultural accumulation of Chinese nation. It is the most valuableliterary heritage and spiritual wealth of ancient people. The time of the "Classic ofPoetry" is in the important period of transition from the primitive religion of spiritsculture of the Xia and Shang Dynasty to ritual civilization of the Zhou Dynasty, so thewitchery and ghost thought is still very strong. It makes the work of the "Classic ofPoetry" inevitably have Witchcraft Culture features.Since ancient times, the interpretation and research of the "Classic of Poetry" is insignificant position, and the results are very impressive. But the research of WitchcraftCulture of the "Classic of Poetry" has not yet formed a relatively systematic andin-depth study. On the basis of previous research results, this thesis will make anorganic integration of documents and archaeological materials about Witchcraft culture,and make a meaningful discussion for the further research of Witch Culture of the"Classic of Poetry". Secondly, with the prosperous growth of Confucius Institute andConfucius Classroom in the world, the "Chinese fever" continues to heat up, and thedemand for the study and communication of Chinese traditional culture classics isgradually increasing. The influence of the "Classic of Poetry" has transcended bordersto the world, and the study of the "Classic of Poetry" becomes a hot spot of worldSinology. As a valuable cultural heritage, the Witchcraft Culture is vanishing, and badlyneeds to save and inherit.Take this as an opportunity; this thesis uses traditional literature text analysis,verification, comparative analysis as the foundation, and integrates with culturalanthropology, folklore and other multidisciplinary analysis method. From the Sorcerythought and witchcraft ceremony, this thesis analyzes the hidden witch culture of the"Classic of Poetry", makes in-depth analyses of the influence and penetration of WitchCulture to the "Classic of Poetry" from the outside to the inside, and has acomprehensively and systematically combing induction of the witch culture which isseen in the "Classic of Poetry". It hopes to stand out the whole picture of witch culture,have a better to explore the tremendous value of the "Classic of Poetry", the heritage theclassic traditional Chinese culture, explore the witch culture modern value of the "Classic of Poetry", and promote the cultural dissemination and communication.This thesis consists of five parts. The first part gives a distinctive introduction tothe research origin, purpose, significance, content, methods, and innovative point theconnotation, and with the times background of the "Classic of Poetry", laying thefoundation for the proposal of Witch Culture of the "Classic of Poetry". The second andthird parts are the corpus part of the thesis. According to Animism, the "Law ofSimilarity", the "Law of Contact” of primitive witchcraft and the "Law of Permeability",the second part mainly analyzes and reads the Sorcery thought contained in the "Classicof Poetry", and explores Witchcraft Cultural factors of the "Classic of Poetry". The thirdpart makes a detailed textual research for witchcraft activities of the "Classic of Poetry",from the music and dance ceremony, divination and witchcraft language three distinctcharacteristics of witchcraft activities. In the fourth part, the position of the "Classic ofPoetry" in the history of witch culture development is summarized synthetically. Thefifth part offers a comprehensive summary of the whole thesis.
