This paper is a field survey report; according to the researcher’s filedsurvey and based on the tutor and other teachers’ explanation, consultinga large number of scholars’ works at home and abroad and absorbingformer literature. Tibetan monastery is one of the most important carriersof Tibetan traditional culture and important culture heritage left by theancestors. A temple contains rich and colorful cultural content; however,from the view of learners of painting technique, the exquisite frescopainted in each period in the temple is undoubtedly the most dazzlingpearl.This paper utilized the basic theory and method of Iconology,comparison and cultural anthropology. From the perspective of humanism,the paper mainly discussed and analyzed the relationship of paintingschools’ transfer and heritance from the ZhaTang temple to the Shalumonastery fresco in the central Tibet; and then according to thisrelationship, combined the Tibet historical knowledge, the paper showedthe previous basic situation of the development of the Tibet humanism.Humanism is generated in the European Renaissance period. Humanismis the idea of European capitalism, which seems to have no direct relationwith the Tibet. However, it is incorrect. Every thing is developing andmoving, which needs a process and not caused in a minute. As the generation of the humanism, it passed through the primitive society, slavesociety, feudal society; based on this societies’ pregnant and accumulation,the humanism was formally put forward after the capitalism. In thedifferent historical stage, the humanism has different contents; even in thesame historical stage, different periods’ humanism also has differentcontents.Therefore, this paper focused on the view of the development, basedon the writer’s personal understanding of the humanism and the mainhistorical events, the paper analyzed the humanism development in theTibet and proved the distinctiveness of Tibetan humanism, which isdifferent from the European renaissance humanism. The Tibetanhumanism is characteristic of Tibet, implicit and simple. Guided by thecharacteristic humanism, the following compared, analyzed andinterpreted the ZhaTang temple fresco and the Shalu temple fresco andexplored the people’s some ideological contents at that time.Due to the writer ‘s deficiency of the Tibetan Buddhism and theTibetan history, this paper mainly compared and analyzed the paintinglanguage aspect directly presented from the technique, color andcomposition. According to this comprehensive and accurate interpretation,we hope we can deliver our ideas to the viewers more intuitive andquickly.
