The Bingling temple retained with Ming and qing dynasty Tibetan buddhist temple grottoes murals of grottoes existing totaling 77,occupy the bean ling temple grottoes,two-thirds of the total number of caves in Ming and qing dynasty Tibetan buddhist murals also occupies the grottoes nearly two-thirds of total murals.The author in the fieldwork bean ling temple,on the basis of various caves,with bean ling Ming and qing dynasty Tibetan buddhist temple grottoes murals content as the main research object,combined with literature,first to explore the historical origin of Tibetan Buddhism in bean ling temple and the rise and fall of history.Tibetan Buddhism was introduced into the charges in the yuan Ming ling temple grottoes,the modification of a large number of caves in the grottoes,redrawn power murals,building Tibetan oratory,the bean ling temple began to be Tibetan buddhist grottoes temple.Second analysis at this stage the Tibetan buddhist grotto murals content of relatively intact,analysis due to the cave,cave shape,wat s open craftsmen skills such as difference,thus each caves all reflect different Tibetan buddhist painting art characteristics.During the Ming and qing dynasties become the protagonist of bean ling temple grottoes,Tibetan Buddhism grottoes left a large number of exquisite Tibetan buddhist murals,the mural theme is rich variety,choose paint on is given priority to with iron series pigments,azurite and stone green as the main color;Images of various deities,solemn or strange or mysterious;The method of composition is combined with the central composition method and narrative composition method to show the thought of "great perfection" of religion and fully demonstrate the artistic characteristics of the murals of Tibetan Buddhism in Ming and qing dynasties in the grottoes of bingling temple.Finally in this paper,through the vertical contrast bean ling temple grottoes mural art feature of western qin period and the sui and tang dynasties and the characteristics of Tibetan buddhist mural art during Ming and qing dynasties,this paper and the differences in traditional Chinese Buddhism,Tibetan Buddhism and the bean ling temple grottoes compared with other grottoes on the silk road,further highlight the bean ling Ming and qing dynasty Tibetan buddhist temple grottoes mural art unique art.All in all,bean ling Ming and qing dynasty Tibetan buddhist temple grottoes mural art not only conforms to the Tibetan typical artistic style,also inherits the imperial dynasty han buddhistart,formed a Tibetan buddhist mural art of the han type style genre.It is hoped that on the basis of previous studies,the art of Tibetan buddhist murals in Ming and qing dynasties will be further explored in the grottoes of bingling temple.
