The Characterization Evolution Of Long Novels In The Tibetan Areas In The New Period

A lot of great works of the literature in Tibetan areas, including manyrepresentative novels come out of in the new period. The authors have created alarge number of distinctive and unique characters. With the development of thetimes, we found a great characterization evolution in the literature in Tibetanareas，such an evolution has especially existed in the long novels of the literature inTibetan areas. There are little concentrative researches about the characterizationevolution for the Tibetan literature in the new period，though there are so manyresearches about the literature of Tibetan areas, especially about Tibetan literature.This article has chosen six representative novels from the literature in Tibetanareas in the new period, to do the research of the characterization evolution. Atfirst, the author will analyze the characters’ evolution, and then analyze theevolution of the characterization methods, finally finds the three fundamentalcharacteristics of the evolution and explore the reasons of the characteristics.In the first chapter, I will divide the character images according to threegeographical areas which are Tibetan, Han (Central Plains) and foreign, thenanalyze the basic rules of the evolution. In the second chapter, I will to reveal theevolution of the characterization evolution according to the creation methods, therhetoric and the structure of these texts. In the third chapter, I will to explore thecauses which led to the fundamental characteristics of the evolution: Explore theethnic, class contradictions in the changelings between the characters, to reflect“the contradictory features of the characters”; Explore the trend that the characters’religious color is more and more in line with the Tibetan religious identities, toverify “the Tibetan religious identity of the characters”; Discuss the evolution ofthe concept which guided the characterization, to verify “the features of theenriching concept of ’people’".
