Tibetan heroic epic "The king gesar", having the great length, a long history and thecharacteristics of still being sung as "Living epics", is the precious wealth of the humanculture, which has a strong position in the world of the forest epics. Under the backgroundof the global history, the national culture is coming to the world and has gain the importantplace in the form of global value.It identifies the urgent need of becoming a nationalidentification. With the trend of the “New myth socialist”, all the activities of “Restatementof the mythology “developed vigorously in all over the world. ALai, Tibetan writer, whocreated “King gesar", restated the traditional epic in the novel way and made more effortsto Tibet real expression in its own way.Different from the way of “Restating myth” of the writers, such as Sutong andYezhaoyan, Alai didn’t choose the way of subversion and playful description. In theprocess of restatement, Alai dramatically inherits the excellent tradition of epics to satisfythe readers for ancient epics and the expectation of the Tibetan culture with respect to thenational culture of the infinitation. Through the new clues of the arrangement, Alai realizedthe contrast of the tradition and modern. It discussed about the eternal subject of humannature to pull the aesthetic distance and developed the horizon of the readers. The point ofview of receptive aesthetics is the works crested for the readers; the only object of literaryis for reader. So, respecting for the reader, paying attention to the expected visions, pullingthe aesthetic distance could make works send out a eternal charm. The creation of thenovel embodies the basic characteristics of receptive aesthetics. This paper makes therelated theory of receptive aesthetics, focus on the relationship between the reader and thewriter. It grasps the “King gesar” deeply to explore the truth of restatement of the myth anda few national culture inheritance in an effective way.This article is divided into five parts: The first chapter described the main introductionof background, present situation and methods; The second chapter from the angles ofreceptive aesthetics analysis era culture background of novel creation and the originalintent of the writer; In the third chapter, starting from the novel, and analyzing through theTibetan culture and epic of the original present which realized the quintessence ofinherited myths epic perfect, it makes the readers look forward to satisfy the vision; The fourth chapter, focuses on the analysis of the new clues works, the novel realized thecontract between tradition and modern, the dialogue of god and man through the charactersof "JinMei". It brought the readers new aesthetic experience and caused readers reflectionof modernity about history and human, and to pull the aesthetic distance, beyond thereaders’ horizon of expectation; In the last part of reception aesthetics with practice of the"restated myth" and research deep thinking, exploring an effective way of minority andspreading culture protection.
