As one of the three official festivals,Shangsi Festival has very deeply folklorebackground and cutural connotations. Tang Dynasty is a prosperity period of poem, thefestival poems are especially striking. The result of collision of folk custom and poetry is theprosperity of Shangsi poems. This paper makes every effort to use a new way to inspect theevolutionle process of Shangsi Festival and Shangsi poems; As the basis of Shangsi poems,exploring the deep meaning and the cultural values of Shangsi poems from angles ofhumanities content, psychology of ports, social values, folk culture, image works.This paper consists of three chapters. The first chapter introduses the evolution ofShangsi Festival which from the source to Tang Dynasty, the evolution of Shangsi poemswhich from Qin Dynasty to Tang Dynasty and features of every stage and summarize sevaralreasons of prosperous Shangsi poems of Tang Dynasty. The second chapter is the focus of thispaper. The author first analyzes the mentality of Shangsi poets, then discuss the sense ofequality and feminist conscioousness; then discuss the moods of joy spring and sad spring;then use the cases of Qujiang to search knot with Qujiang and the psychology of politics ofpoets. The last chapter explore the art of poems and analyze the symbolisms of plant imagesand wine images and summarizes the main expressing methods of poems about ShangsiFestival in Tang Dynasty.
