Shangsi Zhuang Research Questions

The research object of the paper is the interrogative sentence of Zhuang language in Shangsi Country, Guangxi. Based on the relatively rich language data collected in the fieldwork and the relevant research materials of Chinese interrogative sentence, the paper uses the synchronic description as the main method of this research and comprehensively uses methods including the fieldwork method and the three-dimensional grammatical theory. The paper does a detailed description of the interrogative sentence of Zhuang language in Shangsi Country and tries to summarize the main features of it. Then the paper observes the interrogative sentence from the pragmatic and semantic view and analyses the non-doubt usages of the interrogative sentence in Shangsi Zhuang language.The paper includes4chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, mainly focus on the research situation, research scope, research theories, the definition and classification of interrogative sentence in Shangsi Zhuang, the language data sources and the phonetic system of Shangsi Zhuang language.The second chapter introduces the basic situation of the Shangsi Zhuang interrogative sentence and analyzes the characters of four kinds of interrogative sentence including wh-question, alternative question, yes-no question and a-not-a question from the point of basic types and the structural features. Every type of the Shangsi Zhuang interrogative sentence has its own structural characteristics and also has its own features in interrogative pattern, interrogative information, interrogative focus, interrogative mood and interrogative pronouns, etc.The third chapter introduces that This paper has a multi-dimensional and multi-level observation of the interrogative focus, the Q&A situation, the semantic content, the pragmatic features and the non-doubt usages of the interrogative sentence in Shangsi Zhuang.The forth chapter is the conclusion which summarizes the paper, and has an elaboration of the problems and limitations of this research, and then points out some aspects for further study.
