As one aspect, it inherit the seal-carving fromQing Dynasty and the early stage of National Republic of China naturally, at the sametime, it linked the art history between National Republic of China and the present age,prepared for the later development of seal-carving art. And for another aspect, it remainsthe primary features of seal-carving in National Republic of China, as well as thedistinct unique features for war age during1937to1949. Especially after the Nationalgovernment ruled by Chiang_Kai-shek Administration which transferred from Nanjingto Chongqing, then Chongqing as a Provisional capital accept a lot elite of literature andarts that also transferred and gathered there.
