Visual communication design development of a long history, and has it’s prototype in theoriginal period, the ancient "rope diary, shop signs and so on all is the form of visualcommunication design, just people at that time have not the concept of the design. Traditional visual communication design isplane static, including font design, logo design, advertisement design, packaging design, etc.Visual Communication Design has been in influencing people’s lives, and now, hadpenetrated into all aspects of People’s Daily life, not only reflects on the lifestyle characteristicsalso affect the behavior of person’s life. The progress of the society, people’s life rhythmspeeding up, greatly increased person’s demand for information, and other, and no longer stay inthe traditional mode of access to information through print products, in favor of various forms ofanytime, anywhere get the latest information of shortcuts.Nowadays, we have into the Omnimedia era, in which age old and new media Developmentand integration. It have a rich media, the information is available from a variety of sources,dissemination of the rich content, through the media, comprehensive, full-time mode oftransmission of service to humanity. Human aesthetic demand, information needs, demand forcommodities, technical drive, the audience "fragmentation" and the policy support, make themedia to rapid development and widespread around the world. The Omnimedia era promptedpeople to choose a faster and more effectively "Picture stories" approach to the development ofVisual Communication Design, which is mainly to“see”, use visual symbols,“forcommunicating and design”, put forward higher request, provides a broader developmentplatform and technology support. Visual communication design using the springboard, broadenthe scope of their way and performance,injected the animation elements, the video elements, themobile elements, the multimedia integrated element, virtual interactive elements and so on, anddeveloped begin from hand-platform to a digital platforms, from two-dimensional static designto a three-dimensional dynamic design, from passive acceptance to a interactive communication, designed by the reality to a virtual design, from a single form to comprehensive form, fromsimple to the Omnimedia spread, which are derived the space, dynamic and interactive visualcommunication design, have a good development in all fields and considerable prospects.We must seize the Omnimedia this opportunity to pass the thing of beauty and correctaesthetic ideas to thousands of families, to enhance the quality and level of the aesthetic of thewhole people. Even under the premise of understanding and comparing China and foreign visualcommunication design development course and the present situation of the development, payclose attention to the cause of all kinds of undesirable phenomenon during, for example,Consumption turning into a bubble,Art homogeneity and Aesthetic vulgarization problem, andfor reflection and analysis,find out the feasible solutions to problems.
