When Japan occupied Taiwan and the Northeast, the authority use great power politic to make people unconscious of nation conception. Due to the intense restriction from the colonial authorities, some local writers had to talk about homeland or native land instead of country. Particularly, they fall back on traditional culture and disting wishing local sense so as to highlight the national characteristic. Although Taiwan and northeast are in different, which are semi-feudal society and colonial-feudal society, they all suffered from colonialism and imperialism in some extent. It is no doubt that two areas has a resemble fate. As a result, writers began to choose Native Literal to resist foreign aggression and spiritual slavery.Thesis involves three chapters. The first chapter implies the approach against the colonial culture. The colonist make attempt to control people’s national consciousness by a series of cultural policy. Under this kind of pressure, writers are quick to adjust themselves to fight against colonists in literature. Moreover, writers of Taiwan describe local traditional custom to express the distinctive characteristic and feature of China. While writers of northeast creat a independent local cultural space from the perspective of cultural awareness, where people can maintain historical culture in search of spiritual identity and cognition. The second chapter tells about writer’s personal experience and anxiety of country.Living in occupied homeland with miserable fellows, writers only dare to went in private ways and bear a feeling of sadness. From the view of country, they thought over the dacadence of humanity during the war. For one thing, more writers of Taiwan recognise the traditional culture by implying the specific and feature of China. At the same time, writers criticise indignantly that authority take measures in name of modernization. For another, writers of northeast attack violently the traditional culture, meanwhile, refecting its own environment, ways and value system. Having got rid of shackles of tradition and deniey itself, most of them seek their own survival and development. The third chapter discuss the group portrait in the colonial context. A great deal of peasants lost their land and had to leave for wandering around. As far as northeast writers were concerned, peasants were forced to leaving their homes. However, Taiwan writers put its attention to wandering life of educated intellectuals. Compared with cross-strait, writers are more concerned about the spirit of wandering and exiling. During the Japanese occupation of Taiwan and northeast, rural women are still bounded with patriarchal ideology, what’s worse, they were suffered the sexual aggression of colonists. In the context of war, under the pression of patriarchy colonialism and imperialism, women are in the lowest level of the multiple oppressions that include race, class and gender discrimination.
