The Artistic Characteristics Of Jiapingwa’s Prose

In contemporary prose circle,Jia Pingwa is a unique one,the artistic characteristics of his prose is particular unique and can not be copied. Jia Pingwa changed and gradually formed the prose style in his thirty years prose creation, his conception of prose and prose creation practice make the whole prose circle active and caused a series of discussion on the prose, to promote the development of prose in theory and creation. On the basis of previous research results, this paper attempts to discuss the artistic features of Jia Pingwa’s prose in language characteristics, modal characteristics and novel tendency.The most prominent characteristics of language in Jia Pingwa’s prose is simple but vivid, with a little rustic, but describes detailed and is very touching. The simple and rustic make Jia Pingwa’s prose reflect common but unique, however this characteristic produces some unavoidable defects at the same time, the individual language is too frank to shallow and vulgar. There is always reflects the unique modal characteristics in Jia Pingwa’s Prose, this is mostly derived from the special personal experience and creative mind of Jia Pingwa. In different works in different periods, the modal reflect respectively mild, apathy, enthusiasm and sad, which makes Jia Pingwa’s prose reflects the unique style. The novel tendency is the important performance of the artistic characteristics in Jia Pingwa’s prose, The novel technique brought some facilities for Jia Pingwa’s prose creation, but it is also bring some problems:the frequent use of the novel technique not only make prose ontological characteristics to blur,but also cause trouble to identify the prose style, and hurt the art of prose, make prose lost the real emotion which is the most touching.This negative effect spread to the prose circle more or less. This paper is not limited to talk about advantage of Jia Pingwa’s prose, at the same time, it make appropriate criticism on the deficiency and adverse effects in his prose, hope to achieve objective, fair and suit the actual creation.
