Research achievements of Mandarin-speaking children’s language development have become rich in our country since1980s, however, these theories have not been applied to practice very well. For example, there were little researches about this topic in the field of linguistics using linguistic research methods. This paper reviews related researches, and makes a classification and description of current Mandarin-speaking children’s early mother language acquisition books. Furthermore, the author analyses the target child’s language materials (from01;02to02;06) and describes the child’s language features during the period, including phonological, vocabulary and grammar acquisition, using a research method based on corpus. At last, the paper provides improved measures of mother language acquisition books for the one-word stage, and the two-word and the early multiword stage respectively.
