| The Trilogy of Dystopia are classics in the Utopian Literature and also ’warning common sayings’ of modern society. With the development of the times, their values are even more affirmative. It mainly because the works are rich in content and deep thought in foresight. The rich content is reflected in metaphors and symbols that exist in the text, foresight is embodied in the purport of the text with the critical value and warning. The author’s writing original intention of the The Trilogy of Dystopia is not only the social satire of powder, but also to express his concerns about the future fate of the human. Today we read this three classic works again, they still can cause resonance, allow people to wake-up call, leave us with a lot of room for reinterpretation in the present.This thesis uses Text Hierarchical Theory to interpretation three works from three aspects:meaning unit, represent object, implication of the work. The first level reflects the richness of the text itself, the second level reflects the text how to be interpreted and extended in different periods in the process of transmission. The third level is to explore the value and meaning of the text, namely criticalness and foreseeability. Paper is divided into three chapters, the first chapter basically talk about the symbol and metaphors exist in text, and the effect that narrative structure of the text achieved. The second Chapter discuss the mechanism of trilogy significance presented combined with Ingarden’s theory, means the schematic structure in concept object, represent object and actual object in the literature. I want to discuss the author’s intention, the world that the works showed and the real objective prototype of the world that the author showed by text, that also is the meaning of the work of the present mechanism. The third Chapter explores literature significance of the trilogy, discuss the criticism, warning significance and the inheritance of its utopian spirit. |
