There is a big attention of adverb "jiu" in Chinese grammar sector for a long time. But the classification of sense and interpretation are not quite centralized. The textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language did not support uniform prove of ontology researches and the sense interpretations are not clear. This situation influences both teachers’teaching and students’studding. In the aspect of interpretation there are two views in academia. One is set out all of meaning, including the meaning in context. The other is opposed to combine "jiu" in the context, but to find the meaning of "jiu" itself. This article will give some suggestions by the basis of lexicology and linguistics. And based on the teaching Chinese as a second language, associated with the role of time, range, tone and relationship to divide the part of speech of "jiu".The word "jiu" has a lot of meaning, each meaning has different usage, and implicit also different subjective color in the statements. At the same time, it is an adverb which has high frequency in Chinese. So how to teach this grammar point is very important in the environment of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper investigated "Chinese Course "on the comment, combined with bias acquisition research and second language teaching principle, and made recommendations for the problems in the textbook. So I think that the teachers teach on various types of usage, use the "scenario" way will be very properly.
