This paper is composed of three parts. The first part is mainly about the research review and the basic concept analyzed. Elzborated the research significance and value,then analyed four concept that is ethics,custom,culture and double construction to prepare for the discussion of the later. The second part from the’custom’,’ethics’ and’daily life’three relations to dialectical view of ethics’change’and costoms’ normal’. Lao She and Li Jieren were compared in this part, revealing the unique implication of "custom description " in Laoshe’s novels. Then from the "etiquette","emotion","officer" and "women are inferior to men" four aspects to discuss Lao She’s ethics in his works, excavate the ethical sense behind the "customs ".The third part from the boost ethics and purify customs to further clarify the mutually reinforcing relationship of "ethics" and "customs ".First, re veals Laoshe is a author that takes the character image, temperament, fate, habits of mind tieing to the ethical rope buckle firmly. Secondly, Laoshe stated in the novels as the medium, to the customs for the window,all-roung perapective of the national soul, to convey Laoshe’s expectation of "purification of the mind in order to purification of the costoms". Finally, take the expectation that boosting ethics and purifying customs to treatment national character of Laoshe summed up as the rediscovered of the value of traditional culture. Reduced its theory source and thought pivot, namely "cultural salvation". The conclusion from the "customs description " and "culture selection" angle will Laoshe with the same time Luxun and Shen Congwen were compared, summed up Laoshe "in the transcendence to adhere to" the unique ethical spirit and culture position.
