Different Levels Of Imagery Clearly Individual’s Eye Movement Mechanism In Auditory Evoked Imagery

As one of the information representative forms, visual mental image is a "up-down" information proeessing based on past experiences. Previous studies mainly used visual to induce imagery, but it is difficult to exclude the interference of the visual after-image, and inconsistent to the "up-down" process. Auditory evoked imagery solves the interference problem of visual after-image, and consistent with the "up-dowm" process, because the subjects come into being the imagery is based on past experience, starting from their own and active processing. In this paper, we through the auditory channel induce visual imager and use the eye tracker records the subject’s eye movement trajectory.Experiment I:Stationary objects can evoked imagery,mental image construction needs eye movements. Experiment II:Controlling auditory evoked materials and eye movement, we find that eye movement and auditory materials affect the imagery constructed. And on that basis, in experiment III:We choose the participants which in different level of imagery clear, to reveal their eye movement characteristics that evoked by the auditory.Comprehensive analysis, the results show that:(1)Through the auditory channel, whether moving objects or stationary objects,can induce the imager. Eye movement behavior exists in the process ofconstructing the imager.(2)Greater the degree of eye movements evoked by the moving objects.(3)Eye movement play functional role in the construction of imagery.(4)Low imager clear level individual’s eye movement lack of organization, and lack of effective control.(5)High imager clear level individual’s eye movement effective and regular, in the process of cognition show the "economy" principle.
