The imperial clan is product which under the East Asia monarchautocratic imperial political, which was born first in Western Zhoudynasty, died with perishing of the monarchy. Zunshi is the imperial clanin fact, Nguyen dynasty called the royal as Zunshi in order to avoidingthe same with the name of the third emperor. The imperial clan ofNguyen dynasty has a lot, not only including the Nguyen dynastyimperial, but also Guang-nan country`. The imperial clan of Guang-nancountry called far branch of imperial clan who has estrangedconsanguinity with emperor. The imperial clan of Nguyen dynasty callednear branch of imperial clan who has closed consanguinity with emperor.Far branch of imperial clan and near branch of it have different privilegeand status in education, politics, economy and law. Although the emperorgave all kinds of privilege to the imperial clan, he had not relaxed tocontrol them. Nguyen Dynasty managed the imperial clan by buildingImperial Clan Court(ZongRenFu), which emulated the Qing Dynasty, atthe same time, if the imperial clan crime, they will subject to severepunish by law. These measures have important effects on restrictingbehavior of imperial clan and maintaining the authoritarian rule. In thepast, the clues of studying imperial clan focus on the evolutions ofimperial clan system in different historical periods and taking imperialclan as a whole. The article emphasis is to study the privileges differencesbetween different imperial clan classes, to highlight the characteristics ofthe imperial clan system in Nguyen Dynasty.
